Central Potential - Te Rito Māia Inc is a Mental Health Consumer-run, non-government organisation that holds a contract with 6 DHB's that cover the Central Region of the North Island. From Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa, Whanganui, Palmerston North, Hutt Valley, Kapiti Coast to Wellington.
In brief, we are contracted to provide some of the following:
• To be a co-ordinated networking service and facilitate regional support for the development of a national consumer network
• Builds and strengthens local consumer networks and consumer run initiatives.
• Provide information, education and training that empower and support consumers contributions to the improvement of mental health services.
• Build and maintain links with District Health Board (DHB) funder, Local Leadership Advisory Group (LLAG) and Central Regional Mental Health Addictions Networks (CRMHAN)
• Build and maintain links with Alcohol & Drug Networks
